The MalacWare Copper Barrel Moscow Mule Mug is the mug bars put on the menu photo. A rounded copper barrel, a polished nickel lining and a solid brass handle. It holds 500ml (17oz), enough for a full serve over crushed ice. We make it in our own factory in Moradabad, India, and ship it to bar suppliers, hotel groups and homeware brands in the USA, Europe, the UAE and Australia.

Design and finish: The body is pure copper, polished to a high gloss and lacquered so it stays bright in storage and on the shelf. The rounded barrel shape sits comfortably in the hand. The angular brass handle is fixed to the body and gives a gold-tone contrast that photographs well, on a bar top or in a product listing. Each mug measures 9.7cm in diameter and 10cm in height.

Why nickel lined: A Moscow Mule is lime juice and ginger beer, and both are acidic. Unlined copper is not recommended for acidic drinks served every day. The nickel lining gives the drink a smooth, non-reactive surface, while the outside keeps the look buyers want from copper.
